ARTEMY S. MASLOV

BEHIND A PIECE OF ART

 

Good day to you, kind man sitting there behind the blue screen and reading that page. My name is Artemy S. Maslov and i am an CG-artist. 

 

Since I was born at 1984th, I grew calm child not to annoy my parents. But there was one exception, drawing on the wallpaper in the house and "plasticine war" with my older brother. Obviously, I was in love with painting and sculpture since my birth. Even after many years nothing has changed, only the tools. 

 

I was graduated from high school and the school of musical arts (piano class/7 years of education).

After higher school I went to study in medical school pediatric faculty. Even after receiving a diploma of general practitioner and an internship in pediatric surgery I could not find myself. After that was meeting with Syd and his works. Of course there was a lot more artists all over the globe(Church, Zhu, Moulins and a lot more), but the influence of pieces of art of dear mr. Mead was decisive.

Syd, I already thanked you, but thank you again, dear friend. You are always being the man whose teach me how to become a better artist.

 

For about last 8 years I'm learn how to be a

CG-artist. Today I continue to work actively as a freelance concept artist and illustrator. And in parallel, continue my education on a field of 3d, animation and directing. 

 

Main thing is that I am ready for the challenges even from overseas. I`m ready to working hard to become an artist who makes a difference.
